WWE announced today that Bayer 04 Leverkusen will be awarded a custom-made Undisputed WWE Championship title following their victory over Augsburg, which officially made them Bundesliga champions and the first team in the competition's history to go a full season without defeat.
With 90 points, 28 wins and 6 draws, Bayer 04 Leverkusen is 17 points ahead of second-placed Stuttgart. The team celebrated their success on social media, writing: “WE ARE BUNDESLIGA CHAMPIONS!”
Triple H revealed the Custom Undisputed WWE Championship title on social media today, writing:
"Congratulations to @Bayer04_en on becoming Bundesliga Champions for the first time ever after an incredible, historic UNDEFEATED season. Time to celebrate like the champions you are… good luck in tomorrow’s German Cup final, and we’ll see you this August for WWE Bash In Berlin."
